Manmadhan Ambu’ comes with ko

The trailer of ‘Ko’, the Jeeva starrer directed by K V Anand, is being shown at theatres

 all over Tamil Nadu from today during the intermission of Kamal Haasan’s much awaited 

‘Manmadhan Ambu’.

“This is possible because ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ producer Udhayanidhi Stalin has brought 

the distribution rights of ‘Ko’. So the trailer of ‘Ko’ will have a soft launch at cinema halls 

today,” a source said.

“Since a huge opening is expected for the Kamal starrer, Udhayanidhi feels this would 

be a right vehicle to take ‘Ko’ to the minds of masses. The trailer has been superbly 

made by Anand,” the source added.

With yesteryear heartthrob Radha’s daughter Karthika and Piya playing female

 lead roles, ‘Ko’ has Ajmal playing an important character. “It is an action thriller 

centered around a press photographer.”

"சிம்பு இடத்தில் ஜீவா. எப்படி?" 

"சூப்பர். 'இதுதாங்க கதை'ன்னு ஆரம்பிக்கிற முன்னாடியே 'உங்களைத் தெரியும் சார்'னு சொல்லி எழுந்தவர் ஜீவா. அவருடைய கேரியர் கிராஃபில் சில படங்கள் ரொம்ப முக்கியமானவை. 'ராம்', 'ஈ', 'கற்றது தமிழ்' போன்ற படங்களில் அவர் 'டைரக்டர் ஆர்ட்டிஸ்ட்'னு புரியும். அவரை சரியாகக் கையாண்டால், எங்கோ போய் நிற்பார். தன்னை முழுதாக ஒப்படைக்கிற மனசு இருக்கு. ரொம்ப முக்கியமா... ஈகோ இல்லை. அதனால், ஜீவா இன்னும் பெரிய இடத்துக்கு வருவார்!"

Jeeva starrer ‘Ko’music has become a hot cake for top three audio companies. The companies are in the race for gaining the rights for the audio.

The producers of Ko RS Infotainments are ready to sell the rights for Rs 1 crore. An audio company based in Chennai is ready to pay an amount of Rs 75lakhs.

Music given by Harris Jayraj is much in demand even before the release. Both of them earlier worked for ‘Ayan’ which is blockbuster hit.

The teaser trailer “Kuviamilla”, which was recently out has given a big hype for the audio and film. All the songs in Ko are very much unique. This made the rights of the audio very hot.

The audio is expected to hit the stores on December 10^th as a grand gala. The film will be released by Red Giant Movies at the end of January 2011.

KO the much awaited film of Jeeva is moving on a faster pace. Jeeva is coming up with a mass entertainer along with all the commercial aspects. The audio of film was also much in demand as reported earlier.

Recently the team has shot a party song in AVM studios which is composed by Harris Jayraj. There is something special to say about this song. We can get to see 11 handsome hunks of Kollywood in this song. All of them have danced outstandingly on the dance floor for this party number.

Suriya, Karthi, Tamannah, Naren, Bharath, Nakul, Sakthi, Siva, Jai, and Anjali have shaked their legs which will surely be a highlight of the film. Apart from them Harris Jayraj too joined them in this song. This is really unbelievable!

Jeeva has become the busy bee as he is found shooting for his upcoming film ‘KO’. The final schedule of the film was shot in temple cities in south.

The film has now completed its final schedule and is heading towards the post production works. The audio of the film will soon be out in the stores and three audio companies are trying to bag the rights. The trailer which was released recently created a great hype for the film and Jeeva is all excited about the release.

In his social networking site Jeeva tweeted “Finished the final schedule of KO n back to Chennai…was so excited to see the JR….“

After creating ripples at the box office with Ayan, cinematographer turned director K.V Anand is back with yet another racy entertainer titled Ko. The film features Jeeva and Karthika Nair in her Tamil debut as the lead pair. Ajmal Ameer and Piaa Bajpai also play significant roles in the film.

Ko is a political thriller and Jeeva plays the role of a photo journalist. He does an investigative story that disappoints the political mafia that rules the state. Ajmal Ameer takes on the role of a politician and Prakash Raj is reported to play the baddie role.

Ko was initially supposed to have Karthik Sivakumar and later Silambarasan Rajendar in the lead role. Due to differences with the director, Simbhu was removed from the project just before the start of shooting and was quickly replaced by Jeeva. Tamannaah Bhatia was initially supposed to play the lead female role but was replaced by actress Radha's daughter, Karthika Nair.

Ko is produced by S.Kumar and Jayaraman under the banner of R.S Infotainment. Soundtrack of the film is scored by Harris Jayaraj, who joins hands with K.V Anand again after Ayan.

Ko will be distributed by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies.

Initially the film was rumored to have Karthik Sivakumar in the lead role. However, it was later officially announced that Silambarasan Rajendarwould play the lead role in the film. But, due to difference of opinion with the director, Simbhu was removed from the project just before the start of the shooting ^[3] and was quickly replaced by Jeeva.^[4] The lead female role was initially supposed to be enacted by Tamannaah Bhatia, who was replaced by actress Radha's daughter, Karthika Nair.^[5].

The soundtrack is scored by Harris Jayaraj, who joins with Anand again after Ayan.^[6] The composing of the songs took place in Macau. A teaser was released before the screening of Mynaa. It had a song named Kuviamilla, written by Madhan Karky & sung by Aalaap Raaju. The teaser by itself, made a huge hit among the listeneres, even before audio release. The movie has another solo song sung by Bombay Jayashree, named Munpaniya. Another song is a club song which is sung by Emcee Jesz, Vijay Prakash, Tippu, Solar Sai and Ranaina Reddy. This song will have many celebrities from Kollywood appearing on the screen. The audio launch will happen on 25th this month.
